Tallow Soap

Creation by the Creek’s basic tallow soap recipe consists of grass-fed beef tallow, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), distilled water, and essential oils. Certain varieties may contain other carrier oils, spices, or natural clays for coloring purposes.

I use the cold process method, which means it cures for four weeks before it is ready to use and keeps the beneficial properties of the oils intact.

Why Use Tallow in Soap?

• Tallow helps to produce rich, creamy lather
• The amount of super fat in this tallow soap is 8%, allowing it to be cleansing as well as moisturizing.
• The palmitic and stearic acid in tallow make a hard, long lasting soap bar that does not melt away quickly when wet.

The current scents of tallow soap available are: Lavender, Original, Rosehip, Peppermint, Frankincense & Myrrh, Pumpkin Spice, and Apple Cider.
